| Aurangabad City will host the forthcoming Mayor Cup Junior Boys National Championship 2009-2010 in a befitting manner. Aurangabad City Mayor Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar, confirmed to Mr.Shrikant Joshi the President of Aurangabad City Boxing Association to host important National Meet in the historic city. The event will jointly be organised
by Aurangabad City Boxing Association, Aurangabad District Sports Council and Aurangabad
Municipal Corporation during 25th - 30th December 2009. |

| Aurangabad City, a relatively new entrant in the world of Boxing under the Presidential ship of Mr. Shirkant Joshi has taken a keen interested in developing the City into a Boxing Center persuaded by Mr. Jay Kowli the Secretary General of Maharashtra BA and Secretary of AIBA Youth Commission’s ambitious plans of boxing promotion all over Maharashtra state.
